You know what's the biggest problem with writing? The same problem with ever starting any creative project: scrapping it because you think any idea you come up with will be a steaming pile of crap. A couple of nights ago, I ask CardialJoe to give me a sentence, any sentence he pulled off the top of his head. I was going to write a story out of it, no matter how insanely strange or short it would be. Unfortunately, I scrapped the two paragraphs I had written because I thought they were boring.

At least there's one craft I soon won't be procrastinating on: candymaking! That's right, folks! I'm finally getting the materials to make those raspberry/mint swirl candies I've been dying to make! It'll be raspberry and mint candy fondants covered in dark chocolate and drizzled with white mint. I'm planning on saving back a few to hold over the next couple of weeks to see how well they stand to time. If I can send these chocolates in the mail (for what I hope isn't a couple of weeks) without rotting, then I know I can actually send my family homemade Christmas candies for Christmas!

Whew! I'd best get back to doing what I was doing, which was...well, I got up an hour WAY earlier than I needed to, so I guess I'll just get back to playing around with my lappy.

P.S. I hope the flavoring I got was enough, because I just happened to take the last of the raspberry flavoring, and corporate is notorious for waiting to god knows when to hand us more product.
